Advanced Reservation & Cancellation Policy.

A 100% deposit of the total room cost including taxes is required to secure your reservation. Once the booking has been processed, you will receive a Reservation Confirmation email that outlines a summary of your booking. Please review the information carefully and contact us immediately at phone +2976993377 or mireto.aruba@gmail.com if you have any questions or require any changes. This email will also include important information that we urge you to read to ensure your travel to Aruba is issue free.

  • Please review our Cancellation Policy below. Securing your reservation with a credit card means you accept the terms of our Cancellation Policy.

  • Mi Reto accepts cash (US Dollars and Euros), and credit card (Visa, Master Card and Discover)

  • Alternatively you may pay your hotel room balance via bank wire transfer prior to your arrival. Please contact us at phone +2976993377 or mireto.aruba@gmail.com if you would like us to send you bank account details and wire transfer instructions. Payments must be received no less than one week prior to your arrival date. Please ensure you confirm your payment with us via email.

  • We require a six-night minimum booking for holiday reservations during the Christmas and New Year’s holiday period (December 15 – January 15) and the Carnival period (February 16 – March 02, 2022) and a three-night minimum booking during the Easter holiday period.

  • Pets are not permitted at Mi Reto.

  • We ask that all of our guests purchase Travel Insurance, which is generally inexpensive, but can really save a lot of emotional distress if an unforeseen event occurs. We recommend your travel insurance will cover you for airline flight and accommodation cancellation especially during the hurricane season. We also recommend you are covered for accident, illness, medical evacuation and theft.

  • We do not issue refunds or credits for flight cancellations, due to any circumstances. Please take out Travel Insurance to protect against flight cancellations.

  • Any changes to your reservation must be received no less than 30 days prior to your original arrival date via email, and changes are subject to availability. There are no refunds or credits issued for reservation changes within 30 days of the arrival date that reduce the number of nights stayed.

  • There are no refunds or credits issued for early checkouts.

  • There are no refunds or credits issued due to bad weather, tropical storms or hurricanes; including any inconvenience or complication caused by a hurricane’s direct hit, near miss, or significant threat of a hurricane strike. Hurricanes are unpredictable by nature. Please take out Travel Insurance to protect against these types of unforeseen events.

  • Mi Reto is not liable for any other costs, evacuation or inconveniences caused by a tropical storm or hurricane.

Terms and Conditions.


1. Mi Reto or Mi Reto Resort, is a professional private company operating under limited liability, established at Adriaan Lacle Boulevard 2A in Oranjestad, Aruba, hereinafter also referred to as “Mi Reto”. The Firm is registered at the Chamber of Commerce of Aruba under number H17941.0

2. These general terms and conditions shall apply to all bookings and guests at the Mi Reto Resort at Adriaan Lacle Boulevard 2A in Oranjestad, Aruba.

3. All reservations are made to and accepted by Mi Reto as such, which is the contractual party of all guests residing at the Mi Reto Resort. Mi Reto’s managing director, as well as its employees, shall not be considered as performing any work personally, nor can or shall they be personally held liable with respect to such work. Any claim for damages against natural persons, employees or directors of Mi Reto is excluded.

4. Smoking is not allowed at the resort. Pets are not allowed at the resort.

5. Medical services in Aruba can be expensive. All guests are strongly advised to have a travel insurance that provides full coverage for damage, injury, disease or death during their stay at Mi Reto. Any liability on the part of Mi Reto is limited to the amount that is actually recovered under Mi Reto’s insurance policies in that particular case. In the event, for whatever reason, no amount will be made payable pursuant to the insurance policies, the liability of Mi Reto will be limited to the amount paid for the stay at Mi Reto Resort.

6. All rights of action, claims and other powers of whatever nature vis-à-vis Mi Reto related to services provided by Mi Reto, shall expire in any event six months after the moment on which the party involved is aware or could reasonably be aware of the existence of these rights, claims and powers.

7. All flexible rate invoices of Mi Reto shall be paid in full prior to or on the first day of any stay. All non-refundable rate invoices shall be paid immediately upon reservation and are subject to the Mi Reto Reservation Cancellation Policies (see below). All guests making payments by credit card prior to arrival need to send a completed and signed Credit Card Authorization Form by email. A late payment interest of 1.5% per month shall be applied to any past due amount of any invoice. In addition an extra-judicial collection fee of 15% shall be applied to any unpaid amount.

8. Without prejudice to the provisions under article 3 above, these terms and conditions are stipulated not only for the benefit of Mi Reto, but also for the benefit of its managing director and of all personnel and other persons who are or have been employed by Mi Reto.

9. All relationships between Mi Reto and its guests, as well as those who make use of its services, are exclusively governed by the laws of Aruba. Disputes arising out of this relationship shall be resolved exclusively by the competent court in Aruba.

 Liability

Mi Reto and its employees shall not be liable for any damages caused mentally or physically as a result of, or in connection with:

  • Any delays or cancellations. In the event of a traveler becoming ill during a vacation, or having to cut their vacation short, all hospital and medical expenses are the traveler's responsibility.

  • Monetary crises, social unrest, political or labor problems, economic changes, electrical outages due to weather, mechanical maintenance or construction difficulties, for any claims, losses, damages, costs, expenses, delays or loss of enjoyment, of any nature or kind whatsoever resulting from events beyond our or a supplier's reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of Nature (hurricanes, mudslides, earthquakes), flight cancellations or changes, strikes, labor disputes, lockouts, threats or acts of terrorism, acts of war or declared war, hurricanes or weather conditions, diseases or epidemics/pandemics, novel or unexpected conditions and local laws.

  • Absence of travel documents, visas, passports, health certificates where required. Mi Reto is not responsible for advisement of travel and entry requirements.

  • Loss of items that are not secured in the hotel safe, or for losses incurred when rooms are not locked.

  • Only Aruba law is applicable and only Aruba court can decide on any dispute.
